Located in the historic Fleetinsel district of Hamburg, the bookshop project will include the provision of design concepts to transform the space from its current form into a ‘cultural catalyst’ within Hamburg.

The project consists of the renovation of a loft apartment in Venice into an artist’s studio. The design focuses on the possibility of providing for the possibility of working and exhibiting large scale artworks with attention being given to the development of a specific MEP system to accommodate for a high degree of experimentation with materials.

The house is a residential project for a private client on the remote Aeolian island of Filicudi which focuses on the renovation of an existing structure into a luxurious yet simple accommodation venue which will act as a summer retreat.

Situated within the heart of the Jewish quarter, the Anish Kapoor Art Foundation will be the first foundation of the Artist which will host a permanent collection with his most notable artworks as well as accommodate more temporary exhibitions. The project features the renovation of 18th century Venetian Palazzo to accommodate for the impressive large scale works developed by the artist whilst it also aims to establish the site as a cultural hub for the city of Venice.

Designed by the students of the AA Museum Lab, a Diploma unit of the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, the Nomadic Bookstore for Lars Müller Publishers is intended as a manifesto of the relevance of books in the context of the expansion of the digital.

The project consists in the renovation of a 16th Century listed building in Carinthia, Austria. The property was in the state of a ruin, as the construction was interrupted abruptly with the Thirty Year’s war (1618-1648) and the building was never completed. The renovation project thus entailed not only restoring the building for residential use, but de facto completing it and at the same time retroactively connecting it to all infrastructural systems, such as acqueduct, sewers, elecritity, etc. The design intent was that of allowing the caratcter of unfinished building to remain legible and respect the structural integrity of the historic fabric.
